Professional Chimney Services & Exterior Home Maintenance. North Puget Sound's #1 in Fire Protection & Roof Preservation. Dedicated to the Quality of our Craft and Elite Customer Service.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends that chimneys, fireplaces, and vents be inspected at least once a year or every 2 cords of wood. Regular sweeping is crucial to remove highly flammable creosote buildup and prevent hidden fire hazards. For heavy wood stove users, or if you notice smoke drafting into your home, we recommend immediate servicing.

From the firebox to the roofline, we provide complete home exterior and fire safety care. Our premium services include NFI-Certified chimney sweeping and repair, dryer vent clearing, custom gutter guard installation, deep gutter cleaning, roof soft-washing, and pristine exterior window washing. One Call Cleans It All!

While we provide expert service year-round across Oak Harbor, Bellingham, and Marysville, the best time to book your chimney or roof maintenance is during the Spring and Summer. This ensures your home is fully protected and ready before the heavy Pacific Northwest fall and winter weather arrives. However, if you suspect a leak, draft, or dryer vent clog, mossy roof, request an appointment immediately.

Absolutely. We stand firmly behind the master-level quality of our craft. For our roof soft-washing services, we proudly include a 3-year warranty with our yearly moss control treatment. Furthermore, every single indoor service (like chimney sweeps and dryer vents) comes with our ironclad 100% Mess-Free Guarantee. We leave your home exactly as clean as we found it.

We respect your time and your property. Most standard interior services, such as a chimney sweep and inspection or a dryer vent clearing, take between 1 to 2 hours. This includes the setup of our advanced 4-stage HEPA filtration system and heavy drop cloths. Larger exterior projects, like complete roof and gutter cleaning, typically range from a half-day to a full day depending on the size of your property.

Yes. Your home’s safety is too important to trust to uncertified contractors. Our technicians are NFI-Certified (National Fireplace Institute), ensuring they are trained to the industry's strictest fire safety standards. Additionally, St. Nicks Chimney is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured Washington State business, giving you total peace of mind.

Unlike damaging high-pressure power washing, "soft washing" uses a specialized, low-pressure application of custom-formulated solutions. This safely treats and kills destructive moss, algae, and lichen that's left over right at the root without stripping the protective granules off your shingles. It is the safest, most effective way to restore your roof, and our yearly moss control treatment includes a 3-year warranty!

We are fully equipped to handle advanced masonry and chimney repairs to keep your system safe and watertight. Beyond standard chimney cleaning and comprehensive video inspections, our master-level services include crown wash repair and rebuilding, custom chimney cap installation, tuckpointing, brick and masonry repair, and professional wood stove installations.

Routine maintenance protects your biggest investment. Our safe roof soft-washing not only makes your roof look brand new again, but actually adds years to its life expectancy. Our chimney and dryer vent services ensure your family stays warm while eliminating dangerous fire hazards and boosting appliance efficiency. Finally, our professional gutter and window cleaning prevents devastating water damage and keeps your property's curb appeal pristine.
